THE STORY
It all started in 2019 on a sunny day in Los Angeles. Max Gallagher and Nate Mahan - two 90s kids from Philly - were excitedly on their way to CVS to get their disposable camera developed.
After a mix of LA traffic to and from CVS, standing in lines, and then waiting two weeks to receive a CD with the developed photos, they knew there was a better way. Enter Analog.
DISPOSABLE CAMERA, PERMANENT SMILE
In an age where a text has replaced a cup of coffee with friends, Analog was founded on the idea that film photography, specifically disposable cameras, make smiles noticeably bigger. We set out to make developing disposable cameras just as smile friendly.
We thought the world could use more of that.

When it comes time for development, however, many of those smiles disappear. The outdated film development process can cost a fortune, take forever, and require multiple trips to the pharmacy.

Why We're Different
Analog started as one of those “aha” moments after 2 weeks of frustration with CVS. We asked ourselves:
“How can it be so hard to get disposable cameras developed?! It’s 2019!!”
We had just gotten back from a trip - six friends, a lot of beer, and 3 disposable cameras. Shortly after our return, the nostalgic smiles turned to frustration when it came time to get the pictures off of the camera.
Taking pictures with a disposable camera is easy, cheap and quick.. So why is developing those pictures so difficult, time consuming, and expensive? One month later, Analog was born.

Who Is Analog For?
